Winter's Bride

I am lucky enough to live in an area of the county with all four seasons.  A lush green spring, summers that brings beach days and warm evenings and an Autumn with colors so vibrant it is breathtaking.  Then,  a frozen winter.  In spite of the cold it is
still is a perfect time to get married.
Here are 5 beauty tips to help you stay flawless and rosy cheeked in a frosty wonderland.

1. Reflect the Feeling of the Season 
A rich red lip and a enhancing coppery shade of eye shadow is a beautiful way  to embrace the chill, think a glass of red wine by a warm fire for inspiration. Scarlet Sparkle  from Mirabella's Colour Vinyl collection is one of my favorites.
 
2. Focus on your eyes
A key trend for winter is defined eye make up. A romantic smoky eye is  created with Youngblood Shanghai nights eyeshadow Quad.   This gives a dramatic smoky look that is classic and perfect for wedding guests and the bride alike.

3. Cold, dry or snowflake filled weather can wreak havoc on your locks

Baby it's cold outside! Almost year ago, my dear colleague was wed on a chilly January afternoon. The bride's maids wore fur wraps and they all had matching shearling boots to wear before the ceremony to keep their feet warm on the snow covered ground.  There was an elegance to the gray sky against the soft fresh dewy bouquets and the flow of their  blush gowns. I had collected bits and pieces about her day but, to see her whole wedding story put so perfectly together was Glamour and Gatsby, vintage mixed with modern, gilded and sparkling.
