Monday Morning Make up Class

Mirabella was the first professional make up line I used in my bridal business.  I enjoyed taking this class and learned about recently added products. I was not surprised on the focus of  social media and how it  is shaping the way brides are looking at planning. It is changing the way they are seeing themselves on their special day.

Drumroll please....

My new favorite product from the line is the CC Crème! This has amazing coverage and SPF. It makes your skin look flawless and the sunblock is the  insurance to keep it that way. Using a foundation brush the coverage can have more of an airbrush quality in the finish.

We ended up with  two looks, I was the "sophisticate" model and  we also created a bohemian bride. Mirabella has really focused on how brides are using Pinterest to create a  wedding story and makeup is a very important chapter.

The palette  for the sophisticate is soft and cool. the pop of  color happens with a rosy lip and a shimmer gloss.  the neutral colors worked well with my fair skin and blue eyes. It also complimented  to the brunette brown eyed model used for the example.

The Boho Bride  is warmer and earthy.  the sweetness in the pink cheeks is polished and clean. This is my go to for brides that are not daily make up wearers or shy away from a "done up" look.

I love makeup.  The idea of being able to change your appearance with color, contouring and lipstick is technical and at the same time magical. Today, glitter and glam was mixed with marketing, new tools and good old fashion note taking.

This is my finished sophisticate look. it is balanced and well placed.
